Three years ago we started the Little Fun Club on a personally held belief that a child who reads or is being read to regularly will have much success in life and that it is every parent’s responsibility to expose their children to as many books as possible. With this in mind, we had an idea that would solve the issue of getting books into the hands of families and children to help the goal of success for all our children.
We did not need much to start – a couple of cardboard boxes, some stickers, a website, a wishlist of books as long as the distance between us and our imagination, and a tiny office where we could pack the first boxes of the countless subscribers we already had! All four of them! As parents we knew that each box of books we would ship would be a chance to help our kids move from junk content (so easily available nowadays), to content that inspires. We searched for stories and books that will leave a lasting impression on the kid and the parent alike! We spent most of our time working with publishers and vendors to get good content. We started by asking for 10-20 copies per title and over time our orders have grown to palettes of book orders! Each time we order a full palette of books, it is a cause for celebration! As much as we love packing the boxes we love knowing that the child receiving the package will absolutely adore the books they receive! We take much care and detail with each one!
Three years ago, when we were just starting out, a palette of books, a creative space, and a dedicated team seemed like a far-off dream!! Today our dreams have manifested! We have outgrown our tiny office, which we loved, and have moved to a much larger storage and creative space and with an ever-growing sense of conviction that reading regularly to our children will ensure that they grow up to be successful in whatever they do!
No matter what age you are, our goal is to get you to fall in love with our boxes and to do it with every box! Thanks to all our faithful and new subscribers for following us on this journey to achieving dreams! We hope you continue to be inspired and to read with every box you receive from us!
